I'm not sure if this was the same reporter but the DA had a summary of the STM game and stated that after scoring a touchdown the "field goal" (normally refered to as the PAT) was blocked so the score was 7-6. They need to give the food critic a lesson in basic football before letting him cover sports.

I notice that some people go through life just LOOKING for things to be negative about. With all the struggles we've been having... you know, trying to win the game and all... I thought that would be enough for our fans. But then there are some who think what happens at the concession stands is more important.

My uncle was at the UL Soccer game Friday night and spoke to TD about that exact senario. TD said jokingly that he might be out of a job if UL won.

I would assume that the defensive adjustment was due to the North Texas passing game. I just wish we would have blitzed more from that formation. It seamed like every time that we blitzed a safety, he was all over the North Texas QB (Vizza).

The 3-3-5 defense was used against Troy and UCF. It will be used most of the rest of the year. One of the 5 DB's usually moves up to really make ti a 3-4.

We have gone to this defense because the coaches believe it fits our personnel better.

I dont remember the 3-3-5 used much against Troy. But, I am trying to forget about the previous home games as much as possible.
