It always seems like the band gets more involved when we are down. Or right after a turnover. I thought I heard our band play something just about everytime McNeese scored.

Oh no...they played it. As I was walking up the stairs to go drown my sorrows They struck up the dumbest song imaginable at the time. Those of you who know me know I spent more than my fair share of time in the PoA, but even I was astonished that they were playing "Respect" after that drumming. No pun intended.
Maybe I'm taking some frustrations out on the band here and for that I'm sorry. But I'm sick of these mellow soothing half time shows. Come on man, play that stuff at your band competitions. Football is about blood, sweat, and tears (manly tears). Play some half time stuff with some "umph" behind it.
Wallace had/has an arm injury of some sort. and as for handing the ball to Wallace...that isn't what we need to do with Wallace. Use him in the slot and give him 5 yards space to work with. He is really good in that situation. But then again why use his ability to maybe win a game

it wouldn't hurt to get better stands tunes either. Just a thought
LOL!! Hey guys, no need to start tearing into the band! We lost a football game, thats all. Nothing more.
Respect had its day. Maybe its time to retire it.??
It is not easy to put a halftime show together. You cant do that in just one week.
It would be similar to changing offensive playbooks on Thursday afternoon.
The band does a great job.

I agree about the money because if we are going to take football serious we have to make a serious commentment to it. If the time comes buy out his contract and do what Tech did and put the money out there to bring in a guy who can reenergize the fan base and fix what is broken.
Well yet another week has passed in what most around here would a dissapointing start to football season. Saints look like they are gonna be floating in the nearest port a pottie. And I am most sure that the usual early season bandwagon cajun fans are getting their duck blinds and dear stands ready for hunting season now. I would have to say myself I was really excited for the cajun football team this year. New indoor facility, new coaching staff. Especially since your defensive coordinator is from my hometown. I know he is a good coach, and a new defensive scheme has got to be a difficult to install. But I am pretty dissapointed with what I have seen from the cajuns thus far. I figured after the SC game that you guys would roll though ohio and mcneese. I knew they had the ohio game and blew it. The Mcneese game was another story. I guess my main is since Mcnesse is a 1AA school, how long before the talk starts that ULL should go to 1AA because they can't compete on 1A level? It's irrelevant because they won't do that, but I bet alot of people are thinking that. Ricky Bussell is now in his 6th year as coach and has only one good season to show for it. How much longer are you gonna give him before it's enough and time to move on? The fair weathered fans are calling for his head now, but is it too early? In my opinion, if they cajuns don't win 80% of the conference games, he needs to go. Now on to Middle Tenn. I wasn't impressed from what I saw. Either Louisville is really that bad, or Middle Tenn. just had a freakishly lucky game against them, because they couldn't do crap against LSU. Granted LSU's defense is sick, but they couldn't even move the ball after the first 3 series. Hopefully the cajuns can get on track and make a good run through conference play which starts with troy. Just pretend the first 3 games didn't happen, and concentrate on conference games and you never know what might happen. Good Luck.
