And one other thing.........when we have a coach at MT who is struggling, of course there is much grumbling.

But............ he/she is still MY and OUR coach-- "love" him/her or "hate" him/her.

I wish the best for ALL of my MT coaches, even after they've left here.

Funny stuff, Kate!! Your pop made it out to the Eaque, Saturday! It was a real pleasure to see him and actually meet him first hand! A true gentleman...

If you can't do either one of those then the only thing you can do is park and walk. It's not like you can expect to just pull right up and find a parking spot an hour before the game. Go to any sporting event with lots of people and you can expect to do plenty of walking and waiting.

I don't think we will have any of the problems experienced last Saturday for the rest of the season.

A quick calculation for the remaining games is that we need to have about 9,000 or better to average 15,000 per game.
Get there early eh... How about those of us with jobs? I worked till 3 pm.. had the wife show up 15 minutes to 3 with both kids dressed and ready to go. I left directly from work to go to the stadium. My complaint is why let all those tailgators in? If you have tickets for the game, you should be able to park on the grounds. Why let all those campers in if they won't go to the game? I have friends that had campers there every game for the last four years and never been to a game.

Being a struggling program and needing support why not cater to the families? How bad did I want to goto the game to park at the engineering building at 345 pm and walk a 3 year old and 1 year old to the game? Pretty bad, but I don't think I'll do it again. Its ridiculous to ignore a core group of fans like that.

As for the team being bad... I will tell you this right now. I will buy 2 season tickets next year and a Ragin Cajun kiddie pass if Bustle is still there. I like what I am seeing even though it hasn't translated to wins.

UL Football Re: How to get rid of that sick football feeling?

Talking with as many of my Cajun Friends as possible addressing the negatives and pointing out the positives!!!

This PROGRAM, TEAM, COACHING STAFF AND FAN BASE are about more than ONE, TWO, OR THREE games!!!!!

I WILL SEE ALL YOU CAJUN FANS AT THE GAME,
    DaddyCajun

ps Get all those fine Cajun fans that turned out last week and two weeks ago to give these players the support they need, to not just show up in their seat but do MORE yelling!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default You bunch of negative nacy's....

    support your school...

now is not the time to give up and pack it in. instead of _____ing about how bad they are why not show up saturday with a friend that hasn't been to a game yet this year? So what if they lose. Not going to the game won't help anything.

Look at the improvements the university has made over the last four years.

The only problems I have with that comment is that UL had a dumpster next to the entrance, basicly empty and the FANS ignored it and placed their cans and bottles on the ground!!! SAD FANS!!!

In the future placing several trash containers midway and infront of the entrance would make more sense and hopefully the fans will place their cups, bottles, and cans in the container!!

After 30 years I have ridden out many a storm not to mention waves, DC.... But I don't think a healthy dose of critical discussion and evaluation by fans means anyone is jumping off... I personally feel that after 6 years our current coach has had adequate time to put a better product on the field.. I think it is time for him to go.... But make no mistake... I'll be there Saturday night and probably will make a trip up to Rocky Top to see my Cajuns.... People need to grow a little more tough skin when it comes to criticising what needs criticising..

    So, so true . . .

Why is it that people here equate not accepting a poor product as "jumping ship" and "hating" UL??? Supporting the Cajuns and criticizing when things are not meeting expectations are not mutually exclusive.
