Thats pretty funny....The ultimate goal of the New Orleans Bowl...Sounds like one of those bowls where a team can be 5-7 and still go to a bowl. I think i would rather go to 1aa championship and play a team like App State and get some recognition. Sunbelt =1AA

First thing you can't not go to a bowl with a 5-7 record. I believe that the N.O. bowl had a higher TV and attendance than the 1-aa championship game.

If I wanted to go to a 1AA championship game I would attend the high school state playoff championship game

I would say the beat down that they put on us at home last year with a winning season and potential bowl game birth on the line was a very close second. That was terrible.

We may think that we have a better program than them, but it would be nice if we could beat them consitently to prove it.

From discussion on the radio over the last couple of days, my understanding is McNeese is getting a guarantee to come as a one time event, so take that money out of the total. In addition, McNeese gets their 5000 ticket allotment at half price. Conference games, or the Ohio game this year, had no guarantee and no discounted ticket pricing. Concessions I couldn't even estimate, but I'm fairly sure if we ever served beer in the stadium it would be about three times what we presently collect. :-)

I did just post that, BROSEPH. I think it's embarrassing to lose to Monroe. There's more of a rivalry with LSU, Tech than there is with the hawks/indians/south arkansas all stars. When I said "beat them", the "try to" was implied, BROSEPH.

Don't deny the fact there is much more fan-hate directed towards LSU and Tech than Monroe. We probably hate McKnees more than Monroe. C'mon bro.
