Well I'm 23... been a huge UL fan through thick and thin... mostly thin. This is unacceptable. We didn't just lose... we didn't just lose.... we got murdered.

I'm about sick and tired of accepting "ALMOST". You are smart... run off the fairweather fans. I mean... people are trying their hardest to come out and support UL. Same thing happened at homecoming last year... we had a huge crowd and UL didn't even keep it entertaining.

Something isn't right. We have too much talent for this to be happening. You know I was telling people to go to games when we had 9000 showing up.

Now I'm like... maybe hunting and fishing on Saturdays isn't too bad?
Don't give me the fairweather speech... I might have missed 2 games in the last 5 years, but losing like this can't be tolerated.

No more "ALMOST" we need to accept nothing less than what those guys are capable of doing.

Bash me, but you all know deep down inside this one just doesn't go down easy.

I hope they turn it around, but my expectations are no longer high.

Let them surprise me... I'll wait.

_ the thing that bugs me the most is those f'in snobs who felt we shouldn't waste our time playing mcneese because they are a 1-aa school. I've been here since '97 and tonight was the biggest crowd I have ever seen. And they blow it.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.................you're gonna get "hammered" for saying that statment. Wonder where these people that were saying we should NEVER play McNeese St. because we're soooooooooooo much better, and sooooooooooo much more talented, and have a sooooooooooo much better program are right now?

Not trying to rub anything in anybody's face but I've said it and I'll say it again. This season is OVER. Maybe 5-8K in attendance next week vs. Troy St. After that, maybe 5K. Hopefully the program at least made a big chunk of change with all the McNeese people coming in because it's not going to make crap the rest of the season.
That's another thing some smarty pants people were posting ("they have not sold all of their allotment of tickets").............looks like ol' McNeese St. proved all these "gurus" wrong again.

This is embarassing to say the least!

Hats off to the McNeese St. coaches, players, and fans! The better team definitely won tonight and it became more evident as the game wore on. Maybe some of these supposed "gurus" have the right idea about not playing "Mickey Neese" again before another 20 years. Heck, why should McNeese be on the schedule? I mean........there is absolutely nothing to gain but probably another a.$.$. whipping (if anybody cannot see the $$$$$$$$$$$ benefit of playing McNeese then they are just plain stupid!!!!).

Afterall, it's just another game and the only thing to be worrying about is Troy St.

Great job of overlooking this game there taco boy. Care to come up with another genius post again for next week. Heck, if I were McNeese St., the ONLY way I'd play the cajuns again is if it were in Lake Charles and Lake Charles only. If I were the cajuns, I'd say..................uuuuuuhhhhhhhh we'd better wait another 20 + years just so we can build a team that can compete with the SLC!

I had us picked as a 2-1 start and can't believe the past couple of unpredictable weeks. Just like last year's 3-2 start and then taking a nose dive. Hell, we all think that Troy will roll next week........just watch the Cajuns pull out a "W". You never know.... _

_ Man, this loss truly hurts inside my stomach. I have been backing the UL program for my whole sports loving life. This kind of a loss just makes all my arguments and defense in our behalf sound like crap. I just hope UL does not take a major turn for the worse and win only two or three games this year. At this rate will we win a game at all?.....don't think so. I will never stop loving UL and supporting them I just want to cry out loud. THIS HURTS!!!!!!!!! _

I feel your pain, man. I have been a supporter since my first season as a student in 1973 (0-10 that year). So I have seen more than my share of disappointing Cajun losses. But this was, BY FAR, the MOST disappointing one. The pre-game atmosphere was outstanding, and the attendance was one of the best in Cajun history. So, to lay an egg that big tonight was a bitter, bitter experience.
