I agree with the post above, Im guessing some just came for the shirt or to act like this football game was like a bar downtown. I had some turbo sluts behind my crew that werent paying any attention and kept muttering things like, did we win last week, and im bored, so we kept yelling and being extremely involved until they got aggravated and left. Thats sad, hell i think they were actually dressed to go out. What a waste of a seat at the game. We need some more fans in the stands, not someone cruising for some tail.

_ This team came out flat in the 2nd half, they had no fire in them. We did not do a good job of adjusting to what Ohio was giving us. A few points here:

• The secondary has to improve. We gave up too many plays.
• Can we cover the Ohio tight ends? They were wide open.
• Speaking of tight ends, where are ours and why don't we throw to them?
• Too many false start penalties on the O-Line.
• This team came out flat in the 2nd half and was playing to maintain a lead not to add points, where was the leadership?
• Desormeaux proved he could throw, however we did miss opportunitis to throw in the flats tonight.

Ok I agree with most of your points but coem on about the TE's...would i like to see them used more often yes but we threw for over 200 yards it doesn't matter who is making those catchs. There are a lot of great teams that use no TE's and do just fine.

I can appreciate your reply RF2...It's really disheartening for me and many others who support UL...to watch fair weather fan support occur year after year...I don't have an answer for it other than...winning football games! When you have a top ten national power-house 50 miles east of you...its hard to keep the local constituents interest in our program, "if" they are not intimitely associated with UL, with a constant display of unfavorable performances...regarding the "W" & "L" column of our football team. This is why I made reference to the nature of the beast. IMO

16/25 234 Yards 2 TD and 0 Ints for a passer rating of 121.1. Oh yeah, 101 yards rushing thrown in.

No doubt the non-fumble at the end was not the reason we lost, but I sure would have liked the right call there. 1st down from the 2. Two straight option plays and we have 8 points and are playing OT. DAMN!

Now, can we work on our secondary play a little? _

I want all of you to go back to the poll thread that was up a few weeks ago, and look at how you voted. I think the majority of the people that voted had us going 8-4,not 12-0 or 11-1, or even 10-2. I thought that this Ohio game would be a swing game, could win or lose it. We lost it, Big F'ing deal, but that's all that matters. Would it make you guys feel better if we would have come back from the half-time defecit, and still lost? It shouldn't. Lets look forward to beating the crap out of McNeese, and then wearing it out on Troy. then we're 2-2 going to UCF, and can knock them the hell out too.

I'm looking forward to the game and visiting w/ familiar and new folks. I have no idea who will win. I hope neither team suffers injury(ies) that will harm that team when it starts playing w/i its conference. I hope the weather cooperates.

_ I was on the student side this weekend, and there was plenty of standing and cheering going on. The band did an excellent job of keeping the fans on their feet. It also seemed like the student side was fuller than I remember it being last year, hopefully it was not my imagination and that this a trend that will continue. _

I was in sect. F on the home side & we made our share of making noise in the the area around me. The band did a pretty good job the second half but it seemed like they weren't into it & wasn't playing much the first half unless I was too much into the game & wasn't paying attention to the music.
