UCF Coach George O'Leary won't treat it any differently in the preparation department, but on paper at least this week's home matchup with Louisiana-Lafayette seems heavily skewed in the Knights' favor.
Lafayette (0-4) is coming off a three-game home stretch but has yet to post its first win of the season. The Ragin' Cajuns also rank in the bottom third of the 120 Bowl Subdivision programs in both scoring offense (93rd) and scoring defense (104th).
And although the Knights' 56-20 win over Memphis has seen their national offensive and defensive ranks jump to 20th and 65th, respectively, O'Leary said his team is showing a focus this year that won't allow it to overlook any opponent.
