I'm not sure how many were given out but it seems like everyone received a free WORTH Bat at the game today. Perhaps someone can provide the particulars.

Below were some superstars from the University of Louisiana Bat Brigade.

These kids had a great time at the game today and the bats that were given out were "unbelieveable"!! These are full size bats. The boys in the picture came in from New Branfuls, Texas and are the sons of a UL Alumn, the two girls are Redbug's daughters & helped clean the ball park a few weeks back at work day.

Does anyone know who sponsered this bat give away today?? These guys were pumped with the bats and the 17 to 1 score. Go Cajuns!!!!

The second guy to throw out the first pitch was with a company who sponsored the bat giveaway. And as of right now, I can't remember which company he was with, but he got a huge ovation from the crowd for his support of UL baseball.

I'm gonna hear the name of the company and then kick myself cause I forgot the name of it.

I was expecting to get a small bat similar to the ones you can purchase at the University Bookstore. I was very surprised when I walked up and there was a cart full of full sized wood bats.
