Multiple choice SEASON TICKET poll

Speak of the devil...can anyone give me some advice on purchasing season tickets for football? How much they cost? Which ones to buy? etc. or just anything I should know.

The girl at the ticket office didnt seem to know to much about the tickets other than what was on her computer screen.

I have a feeling though, that regardless of my tickets I am going to find my way down to the front of the Student section with a couple of my buddies still in school to carry on our tradition...which by the way started three years ago and the Cajuns have had a winning record at home since that point!!!

I have season tickets for football and buy walkup for basketball and baseball.

As far as prices I really can't advise you since I don't really pay attention. I do think we should be increasing ticket prices a dollar or two per year. It would increase revenue and it wouldn't stop me from purchasing.

At one time I had season tickets in the lower deck around the 40 yd line. When I moved away and bought walk up tickets on the occassions I could get here I sat in the upper deck. I found that I really enjoy the view much better. i know have season tickets in the upper deck around the 50 yd line. My recommendation would be upper deck for a better overall view of the field and the action.

Never have bought season tickets, I'm a student for now. When I graduate I will start buying season tickets.

They didn't have my combo, but I get season tickets for football and basketball. Last year was the first year we bought season football tickets. We have chairbacks because of my husband's bad back, so it's a bit more expensive. We've had men's basketball tickets for 2 years. It's a strain on the pocketbook for us, but we feel it is worth it. The entertainment value and support of our university is really important to me, and I can usually coerce the husband into coming along, too.

We buy walkups for women's basketball, baseball, and softball. We can't afford season tickets for all, so we chose two of the sports we felt would benefit UL athletics (overall) the most.

Who knows? With success, someday soon we may not be able to afford season tickets anymore. We're livin' it up while we still can!

You guys need to start buy season tickets for MENS BASKETBALL!!!!! This is the true sport of the school.....this is the sport that will get this university the recognition it needs for the other sports to grow....SUPPORT THE GENERAL AND THE RAGIN CAJUN BALLERS

I will never have anything negative to say about any sports season ticket holders. But let me remind folks on this website that it is football that drives the wagon in most programs across the country, the exception being a few major basketball conferences.

We continue to want a major turn around in football, but some seem to think you can accomplish this with WALMart revenue. It just won't happen while we continue to sell about 5,000 season tickets a year. One of the best packages offered is a family package for all games in sections around the 10 yard line on the grandstand side $250.00. Hell some people spend more then that on beer in a year. My point is that you don't need to look any further then this poll to understand why we are not expanding Cajun Field or Building suites. As long as we complain about projects not being considered and we are only selling 5,000 season tcikets a year, we wil be exactly what we are now. It's time for some folks to step up to the plate or stop complaining. Until we are willing to do this, everything else is a pipe dream and a complete waste of time discussing. End of story!

I have season tickets for football. They are on the 50 yard line 2nd row upper deck. These are great seats. They cost 131.00 this year and I buy a $50 club fee which gets you a parking pass. I have 2 girls and they are in the ragin cagin youth athletic club. $50 per child and they are admitted to all athletic events and get a t-shirt. I go to most basketball games. I have attended softball for the 1rst time this year and my girls loved. They also love going to baseball. I might try for basketball tickest this year.

This is the breakdown of cost for season tickets:

Chairback section d1/d1/d2/ud1/ud2/ud3 cost $95 per seat plus $100 Ragin Cajun club donation ---total of $195 per seat

Lower deck c & e ----$80 per seat plus $50 Ragin Cajun club donation---Total $130 per seat

Lower deck a/b/f/g/ua/uf/ug $80 per seat

Upper deck aa-gg $60 per seat.

I failed to mention that it was $131 for 2 season tickets including handling charges. The buying of the parking pass provides convenience and is a tax deductible contribution.
