Season tickets in the past.
Currently all extra funds spent promoting ULAthetics, so ticket purchaces are a game by game decision.
I am a student so I get into all athletic events free.
Football & Baseball season tickets. Due to a possible house purchase, I might be on a walk-up basis for football this year but WILL get season tickets back soon.
This will be my first year buying season tickets (football only). Not living in the Lafayette makes it difficult to get to many games; but I figure what I can't use I will give to my niece or other family in Lafayette.
I was able to purchase season tickets for the first time 4 years ago. I buy 4 season tickets to baseball. I would like to get them for basketball and football as well, but with 2 young children, well you guys know. No matter what, I will always get baseball season tickets.
Speak of the devil...can anyone give me some advice on purchasing season tickets for football? How much they cost? Which ones to buy? etc. or just anything I should know.
The girl at the ticket office didnt seem to know to much about the tickets other than what was on her computer screen.
I have a feeling though, that regardless of my tickets I am going to find my way down to the front of the Student section with a couple of my buddies still in school to carry on our tradition...which by the way started three years ago and the Cajuns have had a winning record at home since that point!!!
With no losing seasons in the mix. If you go to home games you are a winner.Originally Posted by lxa656
Many have told me lower upper is the best vantage point. If I wasn't taking pictures on the sidelines or sometimes running the message board, I think that is where I would park myself. Seats run $10 per game I think, perhaps $12 this year.
You guys need to start buy season tickets for MENS BASKETBALL!!!!! This is the true sport of the school.....this is the sport that will get this university the recognition it needs for the other sports to grow....SUPPORT THE GENERAL AND THE RAGIN CAJUN BALLERS

As far as prices I really can't advise you since I don't really pay attention. I do think we should be increasing ticket prices a dollar or two per year. It would increase revenue and it wouldn't stop me from purchasing.
At one time I had season tickets in the lower deck around the 40 yd line. When I moved away and bought walk up tickets on the occassions I could get here I sat in the upper deck. I found that I really enjoy the view much better. i know have season tickets in the upper deck around the 50 yd line. My recommendation would be upper deck for a better overall view of the field and the action.
Never have bought season tickets, I'm a student for now. When I graduate I will start buying season tickets.
