The biggest differences between the two teams in my mind are the back end of the bullpen and the intangibles. O'Brien and Bullinger closing games is a big advantage over this year's bullpen. We have some good arms, but lack the dominant "closer", especially with Cockrell in the rotation. Also, that 2000 just knew how to win. This year's squad has shown signs of that mentality, but it's too early to tell if they can bring that attitutde to the postseason.
