In case anyone is interested. Here are some links to some former Cajun baseball players current minor league stats. I am sure I missed a few but these are the only ones that I can think of right now.

Atencio, Begnaud to DL; Bees Add Pair of Patricks
    Saturday, April 16, 2005

Burlington, IA – The Burlington Bees loss to the Cedar Rapids Kernels in the second game of Thursday night's double–header was much more costly than the game in the standings. The Kansas City Royals have placed pitchers Greg Atencio and Rusty Begnaud on the disabled list. Begnaud started the game on Thursday, and severely sprained his right ankle when he slipped trying to reach back for a ground ball hit up the middle. X–rays were negative for a fracture, but Begnaud is on crutches. Atencio replaced him in the second inning, and in the third was hit on the right foot by another come backer. Atencio stayed in the game and worked through the sixth inning, but x–rays revealed a broken fifth metatarsal bone near his little toe that will keep him out of action. Both had appeared in just two games so far this season.

The Royals have filled their open roster spots with RHs Patrick Green and Patrick Hicklen from extended spring training. The Royals drafted Green in the 7th round of last year's draft out of the University of Louisiana–Lafayette where he was 6–2 and led the Sun Belt Conference with a 2.12 ERA. He pitched with short–season Idaho Falls last year and went 3–2 with a 5.23 ERA in 13 games including nine starts. The Royals drafted Hicklen in the 16th Round of last year's draft out of the University of Tennessee. He was 4–3 with a 3.90 ERA and one save in 20 games with the Volunteers one year after red–shirting because of Tommy John surgery. Green and Hicklen were both in Knoxville in 2003, before Green transferred to ULL. Hicklen pitched in six games and made one start with Idaho Falls last year and went 2–2 with a 5.00 ERA.

Both pitchers are slated to arrive this afternoon and be available for action in tonight's game against the Kane County Cougars at 6:00 at Community Field. Tonight is Wendy's Family Night featuring $14 admission for mom, dad, and all the kids in your house. Louisa Communications will also give away a bicycle to a lucky fan 12 years old or younger during tonight's game. The gates will open at 5:00. The game will be broadcast live on KBUR AM 1490 and KBKB AM 1360 with the pre–game show starting at 5:40. For ticket information, fans can contact the Bees at (319) 754–5705.
