Easy, partner. wanting to call ourselves something, and asking others to call us that is one thing. But looking for every shoulder out there to cry on, can sometimes seem like we're just a bunch of cry babies and end up making people dislike us, and not treat us like we want to be treated.

In this particular case, if you go to either www.ull.edu or www.ragincajuns.com, you'll see that they're referring to themselves including Lafayette as part of the name; it seems that this particular movement is more within the fan base than the school itself.

However I know what you mean by the web site confusion like this one http://www.unl.edu/ I just hope you don't start calling my 3rd favorite school Nebraska-Lincoln

I was impressed that he took the time to write something and respond in the first place. I'll be interested to see if he gets back to you and what he says. Its nice to know that some of these things sites are put together by a real guy, who actually does the work and puts time into it, unlike some of the others who just look at the major programs and don't make an effort to notice the smaller schools. Its his name that's all over his site, and therefore his reputation that's questioned if he goof's or acts like an idiot. This is probably a guy we could court to some extent and maybe invite him down for a series or something, and make him a friend of the program. and, if it helps in him pimping the program a little more, the all the better.
