It also wins games when you run into a dominant pitcher

How many dominate pitchers have we run into this year? We make pitchers look dominate more often than not

I was responding to a generic statement with another generic statement. No link to how or who this team played this year. But if you want to look at it that way, we gave non dominant pitchers a lot of confidence by letting them out of jams throughout the season when we could have put pressure on them and manufactured runs.

Did you just give up on next season already?

next year will be rebuilding year, but rightfully so with all we are losing,
hubbell, geith, satriano, bulliard, zimmerman, parker, porrier, patello, fontenot, marvel, goulas future is bright but we will be young next year, very young. if we dont bring in some pop in the batting order, it could make for a long year or growing pains.

I need to say this with tact and diplomacy. There might be the ability to step in and be immediate impact players, in spite of relative age and experience, quite possibly with improved results.

There. I think that says it.

Hey, I hope you are right, what I meant was, I could understand a mediocre year next year with all we are losing. They very well could be better, but if they aren't I could understand why.

Arms, legs and hopefully bats are on the way. We aren't replacing the '27 Yankees (sadly).

Almost....If you can help me understand something, I may buy in to next season. We graduate 13 seniors, therefore we loose alot on the mound and at the plate. Well, we have signed some good young arms for the future. One may be good enough to help us at some point next yr on ocassions. We all know there is a transition for any HS player coming in. We have signed some juco arms for immediate help. For the past 2-3 years, the pink elephant has been hitting, but yet we signed a few HS bats. Where is the immediate help we need? Futhermore, where has it been the past 2 yrs? Are we really depending on incoming freshman to contribute "that much?". Ain't gonna happen. Do we really think these new kids will be 300 hitters immediately?

Robichaux's appeal has been submitted to Sun Belt Office. Awaiting response.
