He has just released his Pre-Season All-SBC lists.

Eye opening to say the least.

Here is how the SBC ranks in terms of total number of players listed on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd offensive and defensive lists, per school:



14 -- Arkansas State

14 -- FIU

13 -- Troy

10 -- Middle Tennessee

9 -- North Texas

8 -- ULM

8 -- Western Kentucky

7 -- Florida Atlantic

1 -- Louisiana (L. Green)







Perhaps we should keep this in mind later on.

Other than Bentley I do not see anything egregious. Bentley should at least be second team. You could even make a case Steele put too many of our guys on the 4th team. Almost every one on the 4th team is unproven.
That said, I think several existing players and a new-comer or two will be on the post season All-SBC.... and that is what's important.

He's also taking votes for the best college tight end, and I'm sorry to say Ladarius Green is sorely lagging behind. Attached below is the link.

Going off of last years numbers and play, I dont agree with many of those.

This list (the whole thing, not the Cajuns above) is a who cares list if there ever was one. I believe this staff can get more out of the players on the roster. Steele cant really be asked to know that, nor should anyone.
