To return the favor why don't we Cajun fans start referring the Sun Belt Commissioner as "Wrong" Waters instead of his correct or "Wright" name!!

The name on my birth certificate isn't the name i go by in everyday life but when i ask people to call me by the name i prefer, most people abide, they also apologize if i correct them. Well, i don't think "Wrong" has issued any apologies lately??

As the ancient proverb says.....2 "Wrongs", (referring to us as (1)ULL or (2)Lafayette) doesn't make a "Wright"!!!

_ I think everyone should man up and have a duel of sorts. Let's take the head to head results from every sport between the two schools starting next year.

Winner gets their way with the name. If we can't beat them on the field consistently enough to claim that title then the league is more than welcome to UL-L & Lafayette us to death and I'll keep my mouth shut. _

We can start now.

Football - CHECK
Basketball (M) - DOUBLE CHECK
Softball - TRIPLE CHECK
Baseball - We'll know about this time next week
Basketball (W) - Hoax actually won this one

And with the exception of Football, which i think the series is even, we've pretty much owned them in all time series in Basketball, Softball and Baseball.

Great read, Jaybird! When my oldest daughter graduated from high school, the principal (who went to McNeese), when handing out the diplomas, told the crowd what each graduate planned to be doing in the future. At least half were going to UL, which he deemed "The University of Lafayette" the entire evening. By the time the affair ended, I was SEETHING! Now, some ten years later, my stomach still gets knotted up just thinking about that specific terminology. GO CAJUNS!!!

The time for that is over. They(ULM) haven't had a major sports team in an NCAA tournament since forever.

Its a second rate, low rent operation....just like the Sunbelt office and its fearless leader.

Fortunately we have some quality schools in this conference, cause the head guy is totally lost.
