Managed to listen to only a small part of the game but sounds like we played them well. A couple of base running mistakes might have cost us though.

Need the brooms out this weekend.

Cajuns need to start some type of run. They're running out of season.

I think we need to take 6 of 6 the rest of the season. It'll also get a nice winning streak started for a post-season run.

Hate to see it happen to a freshman, but the opening run for Rice was an error not a hit. Compton didn't have to move. It was a hard hit ball but if you don't move and it hits your glove on a line drive, it's an E and a play that should be made.

Still, we got a great one from Parker and we blew chances to add more runs.

Joey looks tired. Idk just seems to not be as sharp.

Also, Fontenot had such a nasty put out. Fantastic play

What a frustrating night. Parker was lights out. And I can even live with the HR we gave up that barely went over the wall. Greg had another web gem of a play. He will be the most missed 5 ft 8 in player in the history of this program. I can't live with the stuipid ass baserunning mistakes. We are 40 plus games into the season, yet we can't figure it out on the bases. Fuze made another bad descision trying to stretch a single into a double. The play was in front o him...in a tight game with base runners at a premium, he never should have tried to run. And I don't even wanna talk about Bowmans bone head play. We don't compete at the plate near enough for this team to make it into a regional. We need help offensively...again! Will this ever change?

Parker had a nasty 12-6 breaking ball tonight that he threw for strikes complementing a good fastball that moves. He is fun to watch when he has his command. He deserved a win tonight.

In Compton's defense, he was there for the play but the ball was hit hard and knocked his glove back to allow it to come out. Overall, though, he did seem a little raw at first base. Even in warm ups and between innings. I guess that's what you get when you haven't started in a while. Had some trouble getting the ball out of his glove on a couple of occasions. Bowman's base running error was just unforgivable.

Greg Fontenot's play was the best I've seen all year. Amazing.

Ball hit up the middle, Fontenot picks it out of the air on a full dive and then gets up and guns the guy out. Beautiful play.

He was laid out horizontally to his left about 6 inches off the ground. I didn't think he had a shot.

Not as long as Tony is coaching them. He acts as a drag on hitters. Not enough time to tell you how, but I have posted it before, as have others.
