The Panthers take a 1-0 victory over Florida Atlantic in Miami. That gives the Cajuns a magic number of one to clinch the regular season championship and the #1 seed for the conference tournament. It also puts South Alabama closer to being the #2 seed.
Earlier in the week, Middle Tennessee defeated Western Kentucky in Murfreesboro, 3-2, thus guaranteeing themselves a spot in the conference tournament and locking Monroe into no worse than the 6 seed. If Middle wins the final two games in Bowling Green, Western will be knocked out of the conference tournament & North Texas will take their place. All spots should be locked by the time FAU plays FIU in Boca Raton tomorrow night.

Brignac no-hits ULM today in Game 1. Cajuns win the Sun Belt title with win and FAU loss Friday to FIU.

Ashley's no-hitter (3-0) clinches the conference championship and the #1 seed for the conference tournament. Troy's 2-1 victory over South Alabama clinches the #2 seed for Florida Atlantic. Western's 5-4 8 inning win over Middle has knocked North Texas out of the conference tournament and has set up a rubber match to determine which one is #7 and which #8. Monroe is guaranteed no worse than the #6 seed. South Alabama & Florida International are tied for third, USA wins the tiebreaker, they will be the 3 & 4 seeds. Troy will likely be the #5 seed, Monroe would have to beat us twice & Troy would have to lose to USA.
