Unfortunately, FIU scored two in the 6th and six in the 7th to take a 9-3 lead. After the damage was done, the USA bullpen poured some more gasoline on the fire.

They can still take two from FIU. USM got a huge road win at ECU....and those things 50 miles east are asserting themselves as the 2nd worst team in the SEC. Good news for our RPI.

Troy and FAU were postponed in the 4th inning last night. Troy beats FAU 9-7 to finish up game 1 from last night. UL owns the tiebreaker due to a 4-2 record vs. FAU and FIU. FIU is 3-3 vs. UL and FAU and FAU is 2-4 vs. FIU and UL. FAU would then be the 3 seed with a 2-1 series win over FIU. Should these three teams be tied at the end of the year, it will be interesting how it shakes out because FAU and FIU play each again.

MT holds the tiebreaker over ULM with a 2-1 series win over the Warhawks.
