I also enjoy the Wagon Wheel on Cameron Street.
Two words! Wild Salmon!
Judice Inn with an extra shot of "secret sauce" and the WHOLE onion slice! (You can ask for the sauce bottle and apply it yourself)
Try Angelle's in Breaux Bridge and the gator burger at Chicken on the Bayou in Henderson

morvant's in youngsville (formerly bero's). they have great french fries, too. as for pizza, the top 3: pizza village, deano's, alesi's(in no particular order)
1). Morvants, both locations
2). Fat Pats
3). Petes
4). Frosto in Crowley
5). CCs Cafe in Abbeville
6). Flaps in Carencro
Fortunately for me, I have a job that makes me travel and eat all over the Acadiana area. I too have enjoyed my own personal quest for the best burger around. Even though I put numbers, I don't have a favorite, as each of the burgers I mentioned have unique flavors and when I travel to these towns I always eat at these places. I only wish the Dairy Freezo was still open in Sunset, as theirs was the bestest!

Judice Inn wins all burger contests...its science...for everyone who disagrees....this is for them...
You might want to try Cankton Drive Inn if you're in the area. Good old-fashioned handmade burger.
