Burger fanatic here and have tried most mentioned. New one to try. Crispy jalapeño burger on jalapeño cheesy bread at Field of Dreams sports bar and grill. Right past Le Triomphe back gate off Hwy 90.

I was about to come post about Field of Dreams. Burgers are definitely best thing on their menu. Similar to a Fat Pat burger IMO. Decor leaves a bit to be desired as there are hundreds of pieces of sports memorabilia with only 1 UL item there.
Wasn't very impressed with field of dreams overall, burger was alright. I rather ziggy's next door.
Cut down Westmark Blvd this morning (between Johnston & Ambassador by Acadiana lanes) and noticed they are building a Fat Pat's in the new section of strip center, a little across from Olindes.
Yup, and so does Office Hours on Pinhook. They are only open M-F for lunch though.
I know this is a burger conversation, and I'm a long time Old Tyme Grocery fan, but I had a great shrimp poboy & onion rings at Kajun Korner Express on Bendel last weekend. The poboy was loaded with shrimp, and they use a great spice blend. Prices we're very good as well.
Kyle I have a new one for you.
I took the advice in this thread and tried Cajun Bugers and Dogs.
They have the old cajun blaze from burger tyme.
The only difference is the bread is better and the meat is thicker.
Other then that its a carbon copy.
This new burger jumps into my top 3 at least in lafayette.
But for the best burger in the state of Louisiana it resides in Baton Rouge.
Both of them.
Either the Cajun Shrimp at Masson's or the KGB at Curbside.
I am going to go ahead and proclaim the KGB at Curbside in Baton Rouge as the greatest burger on EARTH.
If you dont agree that means you have never been there. LOL
Well I can't really say the burger but nobody beats the sauce a BUD'S Broiler around the NO area----Think they call it a Hickory sauce---grew up with the one across from Delgado!!!!
Just got back from Bon Temps Grill on Verot. Good burger. Place is small so it gets packed fast....
