Thread: Goulas question

  1. #1

    Default Goulas question

I am curious about what is wrong with Matt Goulas? The guy obviously has class, is a leader, and is very respected by his team mates. Is he hurt? I have heard that he isn't. Any insight would be appreciated...

He isn't hurt. We werent physical enough at the plate. The decision was made to insert Marvel and Nichols into the lineup and sit Goulas and Leonards.

He is a leader and he does have class. As a result, he's handling the situation the way a classy leader would.

Yeah, I remember you talking about it. It sucks that it's his senior year though.

Funny that Goulas is brought up today and he comes through with a huge hit that helps win the game. You don't do that if you don't stay connected to your teammates while others are playing. Great that it happened to such a classy guy for at least one night.

No, I am not related to captain sweat pants. I am sure happy for Matt Goulas. He hit the ball hard in 4 of his 5 at bats and could easily have been 4 for 5. As best I can tell, he is a kid of great character and I am proud that he chose to be a Cajun. Thank You all for the responses.

Not sure when I've seen that many hard hit balls that went straight at a defensive player.

    Interesting night.

Two players lost their grip on the bats. Almost took the pitchers head off twice and the bat boy once. Line drive into third base box seats injured one. Enough line up changes that poor Kittrell had to check it with the umps multiple occassions. And we had free baseball.

I hope we capatilize on it today and come out with an attitude.
