Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns completed their last scrimmage before the Red-White Game on Wednesday afternoon, in cold, damp weather fitting a stadium nicknamed "The Swamp."

The Cajuns will finish the week with today's player draft, and a short practice Friday at 3:35 p.m. Spring football will wrap up with the Spring Game, which will be held at noon Saturday at Cajun Field.

The offense continued its explosive performances in scrimmages, handing the defense three touchdowns through the air and one on the ground.

The offense started the frantic scoring pace, with quarterback Michael Desormeaux racing 60 yards for a touchdown. Five plays later, the defense finally got to Desormeaux with the help of a bad snap from the center, resulting in a 20-yard loss.

Quarterback Jerry Babb entered the fray and responded with the first of his three touchdown passes, finding receiver Ray Givens in the back of the end zone for a 21-yard score.
