COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (AP) -- Former NBA and University of Florida guard Orien Greene has been suspended for two years for tampering with urine samples while playing for a pro team in Amsterdam.

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency worked with authorities in the Netherlands to determine Greene tried to use urine provided to him by another person. His suspension is retroactive to March 12, 2009.

Greene's teammate on Eclips Jet MyGuide Amsterdam, former Arkansas guard Teddy Gipson, admitted to helping Greene and received a six-month suspension that took effect last Saturday.

I'm not saying that I can see the future, but...I use to live in Amsterdam and when I heard he was going there I thought...Good Luck Orien, your going to need it. Former University of Louisiana standout, Orien Greene, has been called up from the NBA D-League and is expected to sign a contract with the New Jersey Nets. Greene, who averaged 18.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 24 games with the Utah Flash this season, will sign a 10-day contract with the Nets.
