UTEP: Doc Sadler was athletic director and head men's basketball coach at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith from 1998-03. He posted a 120-39 record

Southern Ill: Chris Lowery is a true first year coach.

Nevada: Mark Fox spent the past four seasons (2000-2004) as the Wolf Pack's associate head coach.
