Everyone responded to the chicken. Why on Earth would UL want to chase off a super fan that made the games even more exciting?Originally Posted by Ewhite

I just remember how much the band rocked in Blackham back in the late 70s early 80s. I used to love it when they'd play that old Stevie Wonder tune "You can feel it all over" great horns.

I remember being at a USL basketball game when he did his Michael Jackson act. (This was pretty much at the height of MJ's popularity before...well, you know). He walked onto the court with a cape on and his head down. No one knew what the heck to expect. When the speakers started blaring "Beat It," he whipped off that cape to reveal the sequined glove and begain imitating the dance moves to perfection. It was awesome, and the crowd went berserk! He really was a great mascot/motivator. I also have a picture of myself with the Cajun Chicken from a USL fan day circa 1985ish. I'll have to dig it up then I could use it as my avatar.Originally Posted by RCAJUN90
