    I don't either.

I do remember the national anthem and clapping the fight song before the game but nothing else. I have to confess I did sneak out to the parking lot for a MBL at halftime so I didn't hear whatever was played then.

As far as the band goes.. the tunes they play make me think I am at a high school football game... alot of college bands refrain from playng too many "popular" songs...

Some people love it I've always hated it so we disagree and that is okay. Right now I could use a little respect. :o

He was great. Didn't the original man pass away?

The high-fives at the ends of games...I like it, kinda. I was thinking about ti the other day after the lost. I was thinking it was kinda dumb, something that we are maybe outgrowing, but it may actually turn out to something cool in 15-20 years if we continue to grow. Now if we can only get all of these losers that were acting like there wasn't even a game played Saturday, much less a loss, that would be good.
How about las pa la patat (spelling? who knows anymore)? Don't drop the potatoe. Or Opelousas Sustan? I would like it but I'm in the minority.

A few people on Reinhardt Drive (oh heck, I'll say their names: Nelson Schexnayder and Sherri LeBas) thought he was too much a part of the game and told him that he wasn't welcome anymore. They felt that he was taking attention away from the band and the cheerleaders.

    Kinda' silly, huh?

"Sorry, Rus, you're making people have too much fun at the games."

He kept doing Alphonse at the IceGator games for a while after that. I still see him and his folks (super nice people) every now and then at church when I'm in town.

I can't see the pepper do the Red/White thing. I felt at Saturdays game and actually at most Basketball games our cheerleaders are non existent. Grant it, they are cheering but I don't find the fans are responding.

Everyone responded to the chicken. Why on Earth would UL want to chase off a super fan that made the games even more exciting?

Both are good songs, but I don't think they translate well in a marching band environment.

I just remember how much the band rocked in Blackham back in the late 70s early 80s. I used to love it when they'd play that old Stevie Wonder tune "You can feel it all over" great horns.
