That is awesome progress. Can we maybe send just 2 of those guys to finish the softball field??

The guys doing the work can't get it done without the right guys in the job shack and then the right guys in the Lemoine and Juneau corporate offices. It's a project management thing. Also, this being done with private funds, things get done much easier.
Unfortunately, the softball stadium is a different thing all together. I still say there is something going on there that does not meet the eye (I'm thinking politics or bureaucracy). I fear Al Lamson is turning over in his grave because he was a "get 'r done" type of person. Granted the final product will be very nice, but there is no reason for the work to take as long as it has.
Being out of state, I really love seeing the progress going on. Thanks for the great pictures.
Continued good weather allowed for significant progress since last week. Starting 3rd floor framing of Taft Street Dorm. I stand by my previous prediction of floor framing being finished by mid to late April if weather holds. D H Griffin Demolition equipment moved out on Wednesday 3/22/11. Parking Garage work as of March 26, 2011. Getting ready for placing concrete for the Credit Union slab and continued work on getting the foundation out of the ground.

Riding concrete trowels. Shame on them for allowing concrete blocks to support the wire mesh Tisk Tisk.
New Chilled water lines to Angelle Hall
What the heck is that for? I noticed they had put two big pipes coming out from the band room last Sunday. Also, I've noticed it's been really hot, like the HVAC system hasn't been running in Angelle, when I go to our meetings Sundays. Could it be something to do with that?

I still think they will be finished with the framing of the fourth level by the middle of this month (April), if the weather holds. Then the roof trusses go on and the roof deck by mid to late May. Then they will be out of the weather. Right now there is plenty of mechanical and electrical rough in going on on the first two levels.
They have started with the Geo Pile foundation on the Tulane Ave. Dorm. So it looks like it is about eight weeks behind Taft.
