We are much better than a 13 seed
We are much better than a 13 seed
We know we are much better than a 13th seed but those 2 games in arkansas that we lost killed any chance of higher than a 13.
Not only is it March Madness time; It's Cinderella Time!! Geaux Cajuns let whoop up on those Fly by Night Cardinals.
Those goofballs don't know what they are doing. They can't watch every team so they go on reputation. Time to change the rep.Originally posted by NCAA or BUST
We are much better than a 13 seed
we're gonna find out who truly represents "UL"
We have nothing to lose....but everything to gain by playing the Cardinals!
Senior center Chris Cameron took a pragmatic approach to the No. 13 seed given to Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, as well as the Cajuns' matchup against 29-4 Louisville in the first round on Friday.
"I was disappointed we were a No. 13 seed," Cameron said, "but the seed is up to someone else and I don't really understand how that works. I look at St. Mary's being a No. 10 seed, and I think we're as good as they are, but it's difficult to tell."
Free-shooting Louisville, which has hit 317 3-point field goals in 33 games, might have an issue or two of its own with being a No. 4 seed after a strong campaign. Regardless, the two are paired in the opener.
"I've seen them on TV a few times," Cameron said. "I haven't really given them much attention until now. I know they like to run the ball, like we do. It should be an interesting matchup."
"My first reaction is that it's a nice matchup," Brian Hamilton said. "They're beatable. But I thought it was a nice matchup last year against N.C. State (a 61-52 UL loss).
"This gives us another chance against another team."
When the Cajuns completed their three-game march through last week's Sun Belt Conference Tournament, they quickly turned their attention to making this year's NCAA experience a longer-lasting one.

I have no excuses for either of the loss's...we didn't play our best game and got beat plain and simple. I will love watching my cajun's put it on your cards this friday though I honestly believe it will be a great game between to very athletic talented teams. good luck
It is the same thing that happened when Louie-ville played memphis and houston...the reason why I LIKE me]y Cajuns chances!!
