We are only losing 1 player for next year in Gabby Bridges. Now that is one heck of a player to lose, but everyone else will be 1 year older and 1 year more experienced, Brignac will have another year post surgery, and some new recruits coming in.

It could happen. Remember when LSU was number 3 in the country (2004 maybe) and the NCAA sent them to Lafayette? _

Also, it would not be a good ending to YG's career to play here. One always likes to go out winning and being knocked out of the tourney where she won her first game would be a downer at best.

The stadium will not stop UL from bidding on a regional. Their RPI might at this point. The stadium is functional at this point and has the seating to meet the requirements. The press box would be an obstacle for the committee. But again, UL's RPI is a larger concern at this point.

That's proof right there this conference is getting better. Years ago it was the opposite and we'd drop once Sun Belt play started

They can put a bid on a sand lot. If you don't have a press box you want have a regional. A platform and tent just want cut it. The conferense tournament is all we can look farward to unless things change. It makes you think that you have a conspiracy here. Fifty miles to the east might be saying, let's stop the contruction (money) so YG can go out in her last regional.

_ Good to see Notre Dame make it in. Unfortunately for Cajun fans unless LSU bows out the rest of the season UL will be traveling to Baton Rouge again. And I don't see it getting better since LSU is already through the toughest part of their conference schedule. Gotta pull for Tennessee and Kentucky now and hope Bama just had it rough on the road
