It could be that they anticipate someone leaving the program, but I don't expect any such news until after the semester is over, if at all. They are looking at another high school forward as well, should hear something on him as well as Long. But I wouldn't hold my breathe on Long, he hasn't taken an official visit yet to UL.

Also, John Ehret point guard Elfrid Payton said his visit went well today. No offer yet. Plans to visit Tulsa at end of the month.

Mike, MTSU already signed three junior college guards. Then the Blue Raiders went and offered another high school guard out of Las Vegas last week. AMT never really fit into MTSU's plans as of last week, but those coaches continued to string him along.

It all worked out for AMT in the end. The Cajuns have a need at SG next season, and he'll have a chance to play immediately. Win-win situation. Meanwhile, MTSU will do whatever it's going to do next season, and Davis will be out unless he has a great year (from what I've been told).
