Well, believe it or not, Rice has helped us out before.

Some years back, Texas, A&M, UH & Rice started an annual tournament in which they invited 4 schools from another state to play a baseball tournament at Reliant.

After the 1999 Super Regional at Rice, Rice told the rest of them, "You wanna sell tickets? Invite UL."

They had been very impressed with the crowd we brought.

So the first year it was weird... I think it was 3 Mississippi schools, and us.

Well I think these people realize it sounds better to beat UL, or Louisiana than UL*L, or Lafayette. It also sounds better when they lose.

I would think that at some point the idiots in the Sun Belt would realize it is to our mutual benefit to use UL, and Louisiana as it creates a subliminal positive message to the casual reader,viewer, or listener.

By the way much like last year the Cajuns seem to have found their way to prosper later rather than earlier. Still you cannot ever totally recover those lost opportunities against good teams like USM. Looking at the Sun Belt we have several good teams that can sooth the sting.

I dont understand why they advertise "Watch Every Game Live" on Ragin Station when all you get is home games and a handful of road games.
