2011 vs 2010 Baseball comparison

So after 27 games in 2011, the Cajuns stand at 16-11 overall and 6-3 in conference play. In 2010, the Cajuns were 14-13 overall but a woeful 4-7 in conference play.

The 2010 Cajuns finished 38-17 overall in the regular season and 21-9 in conference play. To get to that point the Cajuns will have to finish 22-6, last year in the last 28 games the Cajuns went 23-5.

I think we will know more about our team as well as this conference after this weekend. Someone needs to beat Troy before they run away with this thing, and we need to win 2 out of 3 on the road. We have a tough week with all 4 on the road against good opponents. FIU and Troy play this weekend, so hopefully FIU will get a few wins to slow them down. But we go to FIU the following weekend. For us to become champions, it will be a grind on the road.

If we keep playing the way we are playing, we can beat anyone in conference... We don't need double digit runs per game, but just stay consistent at bat and on the mound. We got this Cajuns!
