But ump was staring right at marvel when it happened and he quickly backs away from plate when fuse and fontenot come in (and he was looking at the play the whole time) so I think the right call was made for both runs to score. Thank you for capabilities of a dvr, wouldnt imagine life without one!
But, very weird play overall. Lol

The ump behind the plate was close to the action most of the game and had no clue what was going on. It was a mad minute, but with Mister Magoo making the calls behind the plate it only made the situation that much more insane.

all im saying is that with my dvr on slow-motion, and with the KATC camera zoomed in on that exact play, both of our players actually touched the plate. So, there was no question about the runners both touching home plate. But I would say it was hard to tell about what the pitch did to marvel or his bat.

I'm sure he did. He was just strewn to the side quickly when Fontenot came in right after him. Bang bang play. BOP......did the ball hit Lance or did it hit Lance's bat or none of the above?

Alex Preciado. Had his mouth wired shut for a good part of his senior year. He was a big part of the turn around during that season (2006) as an emotional leader and then a physical leader when he got back on the field.

I understood it tipped the catchers glove.
