    Last night's win was good for 9 spots in Boyd's RPI. We now stand at "60".

    Southern Miss is playing some great baseball right now. That canceled game with them could have been big for us.

    Well let's keep pulling for all our opponents except when we play them. A part of your RPI is reflected by the quality losses as well as wins. That might include TooLame. Still I gotta admit it makes me smile whenever they lose at anything.

    Of critical importance, the Cajuns also now have three wins against the Base RPI Top 25 (3-2 overall). Only 13 schools in the country have more. The record vs. Base RPI Top 50 and 75 is also important come selection time.

    Hopefully LSU and Rice will remain in the Base RPI Top 25 ... they are borderline. If Troy remains, that will be another opportunity. USM seems safe for now.
