I have 2 daughters 16 and 11. So far not a lot of drama with either. I think the key is steer them to sports. They have always played something since the 3rd grade. I was always in the yard throwing, hitting, kicking or catching something with those 2. Basketball, football, softball, soccer whatever. The oldest talked about trying out for cheerleader in the 6th grade. I told her why cheer for somebody when you can get cheered for. They get their agression out on the field and not on me.

Makes perfect sense to me. Our oldest never played and it was always drama. She was simply not 'athletic'. Our two younger ones played all sports and have never been a blip as far as drama, trouble, anything out of the ordinary. We love all dearly but sports is clearly the answer.

I agree totally, however the oldest has 0 interest in sports. Thankfully the middle one is into sports and the 5 month old won't have a choice. I'll have her liking softball and other sports before she's old enough to know better.

Some of y'all need to invest in a camp! So y'all can get out of that estrogen filled household!! I have only one daughter, and I frequent the camp...often! Or else I'd go nuts

Oldest gave up soccer last year in 7th grade. Drama has followed..... she is now regretting it.

Middle one kicks a soccer ball around the house until she falls asleep.

No dancin or cheerin anywhere in sight and I'm happy for it.

My camp is going to be called...season tickets to UL Baseball, Basketball, and Football. The rest of the time, I will construct a crude lean to on the back side of my house were I can rest in the mud like Arnold in Predator. If they can't sense your body heat...its like your not there.
