_ Why do they keep overrating these SEC teams all the time? The PAC-10 dominates softball and yet there are still 3 SEC teams and 1 PAC-10 team in the top 5. I may be wrong, but this seems like a trend every season. And then Arizona, UCLA, etc win the world series every year.

To win it all,you have to be lucky. I believe we can do it on any given day . Yes,we will have to play flawless,but we can do it.The PERFECT STORM is brewing in my opinion. The Harder you Work,the more Luck you will have !!! This team is special .

It’s a rivalry thing. LSUA&M@BR doesn’t like to call it that. But, it is the truth. There is a love / hate relationship between UL and LSUA&M@BR. LSUA&M@BR fans would say the same thing if we dropped out the polls.

Not trying to start any heat with you. Just bringing a point across.

no im not worried bout lsu at all...i just think they were ranked higher than should have been. not to mention we would beat 'em anyways. its just nice to finally be the only school from Louisiana to be ranked. maybe its just me that feels that way, but i dont care if it is...

i totally agree with that too. i know for sure from some lsu fans i know, they love to rub it in our faces when we fail...like dropping out of a poll. (not all lsu fans are like that, but some are) and i really dont see a problem with it for either school to dislike eachother, as long as its for the right reasons. additionally, i think it HELPS our chances of hosting any regional/super-regional site with lsu out of all the polls. some people say the polls dont matter, but that is BS to me. if polls didnt matter, then polls wouldnt exist.

Unless the Lady Cajuns have a huge dropoff, the only thing keeping them from hosting would be the progress - or lack of progress - of the stadium renovations.

If the gov't isn't building that stadium then some of their employees are lost and periodically show up at the field.
