good thing we jumped on him early. A lot of kids seem to respect the coaches who offer first and recruit them the longest. hopefully we get some kind of edge over other schools because we offered early.

depends how the coaches feel. I know we offered Mathook in football and also said he could play baseball for us as well.

Don't know where Hud stands on dual sport athletes, but Bustle wasn't very supportive.

Football and Basketball are not a very good mix.

Charlie Ward and Julius Peppers are about the only guys I remember doing it successfully.

I think Donovan McNabb did it at Syracuse, but he was on the end of the bench. You have to be a pretty special athlete to play both in the same year.

Especially if the Cajuns ever start bowling, it will be tough to get going on the court.
