Let's support and give all our pitchers the benefit of the doubt. Coach Robe knows his players better than anyone. Cook will give his best effort, compete and hopefully that will be enough to bring home another W!!! Geaux Cajuns!

This is a big start for cook...and it is very important that we win. I was looking earlier today at our rpi and we were 104.

Geith turned things around for himself and the team, its Cook's turn now. We know he can do it...he just needs to stay in control and be cool.

I'm happy to see him getting another shot, Mike has all the tools to be successful on the mound again. Granted his last outing was not good, and he'll tell you that, but he's been out of the rotation for a while and deserves another shot. Cook has been a Cajun for four years and keeps working hard on his game. He and his family are first class people, and it’s kind of hard not to pull for a quality kid. Good luck tonight we could use him down the road once he finds his grove.

Good to see Mike getting another go, especially with Zim working good innings out of the pen. It wont take long to see if Cook will be successful. Just have to watch the first few pitches of each AB. If he's not falling behind every AB, he will be fine. Need to drop that 81 ERA a few pegs.
