Haven't been here a couple days, but I put the pepper decal on the picture of the guys riding in the mule at the beginning of this post. Me and another guy put the "Ragin' Cajuns" on the front of the UL transit buses when I worked there. I had an extra pepper, and voila!!!!! I thought it looked cool!

How about some t-shirts next year for the volunteers. Nothing special. Just something they can wear with pride. We discussed some lines.

    Cajun Pride is Back! Front

I painted Cajun Field for this shirt! Back

That sounds like a great idea, and a company could do this and use it as advertising; i.e., Louisiana Hot Stuff. Could do exactly what you recommended ( or some similar idea ) and have their logo/company name on the shirt as well. Just a thought.

Great to see coach and athletes helping out and taking pride in their stadium. Looks like this new coach is off on the right foot!!! Thanks

Ragin' Cajuns Re: V5 2005 - Volunteer Days - United Louisiana Cajuns (execution)

This weekend was so enthusiastic for my sons and I. Now that the hard work is over, although lifelong Cajun fans, we do have a sense of pride and accomplishment having put in many hours for our fans and foes alike. As members of the Lafayette community, we must always put our best on display. Remember, "You never get a second chance to make a good FIRST impression".

For those fans who were not able to make it, recall what Cajun Field, the Track/Soccer field, the Tigue, tennis courts and even the administration building looked like just a couple of weeks ago. Much of the improvements were superficial, but all in all make the appearance of the property better.

And we can say "WE DID THAT".

Did anyone think of taking "before" and "after" pictures?
