_ Partly due to the fact that it's still unclear whether he will qualify academically.
Josh, who are you referring to with the note about it being unclear ir he will qualify academically. Is it Barnes, Long, or Thompson.
Barnes, Mike.

What is the latest on Long????? BTW if everyone were to come ---what would the starting lineup be like and would it be an improvement over last year---Point-- Raymone----2 ????------3 Da Beard-----4--???? ------5--Mitchell???? I will be interesting to look at your choices in January!!!
I dont think Mitchell would be the starting 5. We have a few big men already committed (out of JUCO) who would probably be the 4 and 5 starters. My guess is Thompson would be the starting 2. If that's the case, then we would have Josh Brown coming off the bench who could play a few different positions. You also have farrington, Mbamalu (sp?), and perez as other options. I'm excited about the depth we'll have next year
The three junior college signees - PG Darnell Jackson, PF Odayne Clarke and PF/C Kadeem Coleby - will be expected to start. If Alan-Michael Thompson signs, he or Josh Brown likely starts at the 2. J.J. Thomas is the likely 3 if he produces like he did as a freshman.
Other options right now are G Raymone Andrews, G Bryant Mbamalu, F Scottie Farrington, G David Perez, C Javan Mitchell and prep G/F Kentwan Smith.

All of these are obviously just projections.
However, there is a good chance that Brown could come off the bench because he is a spark plug. When he started playing well it was coming off the bench.
Finally, I personally think Raymone will start. I haven't seen Jackson, so I can't be sure. However, Raymone is our best perimeter defender, and he developed into a leader as the season progressed. He needs to be shooting about 500 jumpers everyday this off season. If he can work himself into a serviceable shooter, he will be a hell of a player.
