. Ragin’ Cajuns Football Home Opener To Be Televised Locally On Klaf
LOUISIANA La. – The football home opener for Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns will be produced and broadcast live by KLAF UPN-17 television on Saturday, September 17 at 7 p.m.
The UL-NSU game marks the first local television production of Cajuns football in over 10 years.
KLAF serves all of Acadiana; viewers can check their local listings.
The game marks the seventh television broadcast of the season for the Cajuns; an impressive total considering the team had just one televised game three seasons ago.
“We are excited to be on TV and excited to be on KLAF,” head coach Rickey Bustle said. “My only hope is that people come out to the games at Cajun Field and give that TV audience a great crowd.”
KLAF airs various live entertainment and events including high school football, UL baseball, parades and will now have UL football back in its repertoire. It is locally owned by Communications Corporation of America.
