I talked to Greg Hodges dad on Sunday and he told me that Greg was moving to Center. (of course that could change prior to opening day)

I thought that may happen, I have seen Greg practice at center either last season or the season before (maybe both) but not sure if he has ever played there during a game. Maybe rwcajun could add some insight

Greg spelled Ronnie for a short time during the La. Tech. game last year. That is the only time. He has practiced there off and on for the last few years. He always went out early with the centers during pre game warm ups last year. I watched at him Monday's practice with pads and he snapped both under center and shot gun. I will keep an eye on him this weekend as well, and let you know how many go over the QB's head or how many he rolls back. Nothing is in stone yet.

    Green, Tre' 6-0 215

Am I the only one who thinks a 5'10", 195 lb. middle linebacker is a great idea!!! Check your source of info geauxboy!!!!

I think Greg Hodges makes a great center, because of his time at guard he may be a bit rusty but in all honesty Greg could play center at alot of big D-1 schools. He's got the size the quickness and the technique, I mean you look at the centers in any BCS conference and I think Greg is as good if not better than 90% of them. He needs more work at center but, I definently see Greg as First Team Sunbelt Center, I really do. You heard it here first. thats my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

    Geaux Cajuns

PS: have any of you that have been to practice checked out Eddie Brown, the guy bulked up alot, he's running a 4.45 at 220 pounds, he's bulkier than some of our linebackers, lol. I just hope he can pan out, because if he can he'll be a load to take down, Coach Ohrt must be doing something right, props to BO.

My sources are solid. Burkhalter is a mlb, the others are not. Green was going to be tried at mlb, but he came in at 207, Hadnot is up to 205, Vance about 215. They are OUTSIDE lbs. If your sources are what was written a year ago, you need to update them occasionaly. What I was referring to was playing time as a whole. However, if Risher can't get the job done, Burkhalter may get his chance.

I went to take some pics yesterday but the rain cut practice short.

    Indoor facility . . . .
