We scored four runs with a great hitter on the injured reserve.Don't give up the faith yet.Remember, the season is a Marathon race, not a sprint !!!!!

i dont think any true fans are giving up, this team has more "it" factor than most things at this school. if any team could pull off the unthinkable, Ragin' Cajuns Softball can!

Although we can beat these teams on rare occasions, we are just not on their level. SEC teams just tend to be ranked superficially high IMO. _
When you say "too many athletes" do you mean "very good batters"? That is what I meant also. CMLs style of batting will not beat PAC 10 schools. I know we compete with the SEC and the Big Ten but so what. I want to see the LADY CAJUNS take the next step and compete with the PAC 10. CML = COACH MIKE LOTIEF. (sorry for the confusion I will type his full name for now on)

YES. I agree I would like them to take the next step, but I'm afraid it may never happen. I couldn't be prouder of any UL team than I am of the softball program, but those Pac 10 teams are a full notch better than anyone else, and I don't see that changing. Who knows, UL may catch lightning in a bottle like Fresno State did in baseball a couple of years ago, but again, it's unlikely. IMHO
