I'm not the expert that CajunT is...but I don't think he would have committed to come here if it were not to play QB.

I think he will be given the opportunity; but I believe he will end up as a DB.

I had my doubts before the season, but D'Shaie is just starting to fill out physically. Also, a lot of QB's come out of HS playing in a system that allows them to put up big numbers. Landor is actually more developed at reading defenses then Blaine Gautier was coming out of HS. I've watched him since he was a freshman, and this kid is very adapt at finding the right target making mulitple reads. He is more polished throwing the ball and reading defenses then any QB that has come out of this area in a long time. Yes, that includes a few that have played at UL.

OK here is the deal Boomer, and I agree with a lot of what you say. Lets just say God said to Hud, you can have your pick of no star players, one, star players, and two star players over the next 100 players you place on athletic grants , or you can get a position balanced group of three and four star players over your next 100 players.

Now you know some will say I would rather players I evaluated and take the first group. Others would say that the stars were for the most part earned both on and off the field and take the projected better players. Like you Boomer, we can all say what about this guy nobody wanted who was a great player, and what about this guy who everyone wanted who was a total bust, but you know the betting line says take the better projected players.

But if you notice that my first post had other criteria for the offering-----other player evaluations along with his own and opposing coaches----position coach film and maybe at game evaluation----have a check list set up with all of these and see how he comes out or don't forget the most important------secondary sexual criteria (To be interpreted as future growth )---thought that might bring out some interest again!!! Merry Christmas !!!!

The kid is a quarterback. Throws extremely impressive long ball, very accurate, good runner. He will be in competition for starting qb.
