Brady, you've covered high school football in this area for a while and have seen a lot of talent over the years. What does Landor do best? Does his skill set remind you of any college/NFL player? Some have questioned his ability to play QB in college due to his size.

He's got a fairly strong arm and very good mobility. I'd say he's in the mold of a Pat White. Two years ago, he didn't use his legs as much and his season numbers suffered for it. Last year, coach Sonny Charpentier basically gave him the green light and told him if the play wasn't developing to use his legs to escape. The result was 2,000 yards passing and 800 rushing and a trip to the semifinals.

His size is definitely something that's keeping him from being recruited by major FBS schools. But he's continually proven himself at the summer camps. He was among the top performers at the Elite 11 in Dallas and was the QB MVP of the Baton Rouge NUC.

He works hard and that's what coaches are going to really like about him. He's lowered his 40 time from 4.7 to 4.55 in the last year. And because of that, he's shot up to No. 1 QB in the state by scout.com.

I think he's got all the tools to be successful in college. Optimally, he'd like to add some muscle to his frame to increase his strength and durability. But overall, I think he's got a chance to be pretty good in college if he keeps working hard at improving his skillset.

A late growth spurt wouldn't hurt.
