Thread: Burnt Roux - Dshaie Landor

  1. #1

Default Burnt Roux - Dshaie Landor

Teurlings Catholic QB Dshaie Landor shouldn't get bored in the near future. The junior has a busy schedule on tap, filled with campus visits, Junior Days, the Elite 11 QB Trials, and more.

I've watched him since he was a freshman at Teurlings. He started JV as a freshman. He has good arm strength and a good release. A few programs will offer him at QB, others will offer him as an athlete. His frame doesn't project him to carry much weight and I think that scares college coaches. He weighs 180 and he's been on a weight program for three years now. I'd be surprised if he is offered at QB by UL, they have several kids at the top of their list that are much larger then him.

Brian Mitchell wasn't offered by big programs at QB....they missed out.

Brian Mitchell was much stronger then Landor. Landor is a lanky athlete, not the same build.

I'm pretty sure Mitchell led the team in many strength categories during his tenure. That was definitely one of his strong suits. Guy had it between the ears as well.

    Man I miss those days.

Great write up T! Thanks for everything...

I just went to the scout page... Look at all the 2012 local talent we are after. Breaux Bridge, Patterson, STM, Carencro, Lafayette High, Hell even Comeaux...

I can't wait for this recruiting class... a mix of Louisiana and Mississippi and no telling where else.

    Wow.

Wait until you see the list this weekedn for junior day! Best group of athletes in for junior day I've seen in many years.

Give you two of the best in the area, Travin Dural and Devonte Bourque.

T, I am hearing Bourque will have a hard time graduating next year. I am told he is a Jr. by athletic classification but only a Soph. by academic progress.
