The kid is a quarterback. Throws extremely impressive long ball, very accurate, good runner. He will be in competition for starting qb.

For now, and barring injury. Doesn't mean that Landor (or Haack) won't be The Man at some point in the future. Remember the dilemma when we had Babb and Dez was waiting in the wings? I'm thinking this might be a similar situation. You never know how things will turn out. Competition is a good thing! It makes everyone better.

Jalen Nixon is miles behind Haack and Landor is polish and technique. He will play HB or LB here at UL eventually.

Considering Landor may very well redshirt which I feel will happen, by the time he's a junior, Gautier will be long gone and Broadway would have played his last year which leaves the position open to he and Haack assuming no other QB's are in the picture. Neither will likely play extensive minutes their first 2 years on campus but it doesn't mean they won't be the man down the line.

I agree. I don't know if Nixon has the top end speed to play RB but I'd sure like to see him at safety or OLB

I watched the replay of the West Monroe/Carencro game, Nixon looks very athletic and I could see him at OLB, is there any way we get #5 Alex Johnson, I hear his grades are the issue.
