When the University of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team gave head coach Tony Robichaux his 600th career victory Sunday, it put him in pretty exclusive company.

But it's a fairly familiar club.

The Cajuns' 4-0 win over Northwestern gave Robichaux a 600-395 mark in his 18th season as a collegiate coach, seven years at McNeese State (244-150) and 11 at UL (356-245). He became the 48th active NCAA Division I coach to reach that landmark, and at age 43 one of the youngest.

Ironically, though, 600 is only good enough for fourth in a Sun Belt Conference that is heavily represented on the all-time NCAA win list.
