If Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns are going to make sure of another Sun Belt Conference Western Division title, they're going to have to get it done in unfriendly territory.
Coach Robert Lee's squad basked in the glow of a season-high home crowd of 6,954 on Saturday night in the Cajundome on an evening when four seniors were saluted and the Cajuns rallied to defeat North Texas 80-67.
Now, however, they hit the road for the final two games of the regular season at Arkansas State this Thursday night and Arkansas-Little Rock on Saturday afternoon.
Sweeping those two foes would make the Cajuns (currently 17-8, 11-2 in the league) the No. 1 seeds from the West for the March 4-8 Sun Belt Tournament hosted by North Texas in Denton.
Denver hammered New Mexico State 81-58 on Saturday to stay a game back at 10-3, and the Pioneers don't figure to lose in home games against South Alabama and New Orleans, so winning is UL's only guarantee.
